| Meet the Feebles (1989) |
Meet the Feebles is another movie taken from the Peter Jackson archives. The premise of this film is taking the innocent children’s stage show and adding a gratuitous sex, violence and drug spin to it (behind the scenes of course). But here’s the catch, all the actors are puppets, not a single human person appears in the film (besides actors in suits).
The actual story is pretty blah, in fact the whole film is
kind of meh, It’s just something you can watch when you really want to just not
have to think about confusing twists and long monologues. It doesn’t hide what
it is, and it’s fun. It’s just fun…
All the characters spin off the rails, taking drugs, having
sex, killing, shooting pornos, dying in horrific ways. You name it, this movie
has it.
Overall, not something I could watch again; but make me
chuckle occasionally and I’m probably have nightmares for weeks.
